Preferred partner status with the properties my clients already love.

The difference
I don't sell trips. I design them.
A travel agent takes your request and books it. I start earlier than that. Before anything is reserved, I want to know how you like to spend a morning, what you're willing to fly for, who's coming, and what would make this trip different from the last one. Then I build the whole thing around those answers: the property, the suite within the property, the private guide, the table, the transfer that's waiting when you land.
Every itinerary I design is made once, for one client. I don't keep templates.
What my clients count on
The right rooms
Through Virtuoso and my elite property partnerships, my clients receive upgrades, resort credits, daily breakfast, and early check-in and late check-out at the world's best properties. Same rate you'd pay booking direct. Better stay.
People on the ground
In every destination I work with an on-site partner whose job is your trip while you're there. Private guides, drivers, a boat when a boat is the right answer. If something changes at 7 a.m., someone local is already on it.
One person, start to finish
You work with me. Not a team, not a call center. I'm the one who designed the trip, so I'm the one who knows why every piece is where it is, and I'm the one you reach while you're away.

How it works
1. We talk
A conversation about you, not about destinations. Where you've been, what you loved, what you'd never do again, and what's pulling at you now.
2. I design
I come back with a proposal: the properties, the pacing, the private experiences, and the reasoning behind each choice. We refine it together until it's right.
3. You go
I handle every reservation and every detail, and I stay reachable for the whole trip. Your only job is to be there.
My work begins with a design fee, which I'll walk you through on our first call.
"He really got to know which experiences I value and which ones I don't, so now when he suggests a tour or trip, I don't second guess it at all."
"It wasn't the first time we worked with Alex and won't be the last. Knowing there won't be any surprises takes the stress out of the travel."

Why I became a luxury travel advisor
I worked with travel agents for years before I became one. Three of them let me down badly enough that I decided to do it properly myself. That was the start of A2Z Travel Design, and the standard hasn't changed since: make it easy, be honest, and be there when it matters.
